Those of you who have been a part of the 2nd Amendment Patriots for some years may remember back in 2007 when a lady who lived here in Evansville, IN came to our group about an incident she was involved in while traveling through New York.
She had her firearm with her as she flew to visit her friend in Vermont as she had done on many occasions. As always everything was in order and in compliance with all federal and TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulations.
My e-mails reach all across Indiana as well as to folks in other states that follow what we do. If you would like to receive my letters all you need to do is to click on “e-mail list” located on the left side of the current page and then follow the simple instructions.
You can remove yourself in the same manner if you choose to do so.
If gun owners in Indiana expect to advance gun rights and reclaim liberties that have been lost to senseless insidious laws that have emerged over time, then it will be necessary to overcome petty jealousies and prideful attitudes and act and work in a manner that will clear a road to our success.
In 2006 the 2nd Amendment Patriots, working with principled legislators during that General Assembly, established the first and only Lifetime Handgun License in the nation. It was a window of opportunity.

Since the election there’s been much conversation with folks expressing concern and worry about the future. Americans mindful of how important freedom and liberty are have good reason to be concerned.
There are many whose lives are nothing more than a ritual of leaving home everyday to chase down a dollar and care nothing about principles, moral code, and integrity.
We've all heard the expression " fighting the soft war". Many of us have used that phrase when talking about writing a letter or making a call to a legislator about a gun issue.
But, I've come to the conclusion that this phrase is incorrect. In fact, it's almost insulting. There's nothing "soft" about standing chest deep on the front lines in fighting back gun control legislation that comes at us in tidal waves from local, state and federal government.
